In every family, there’s one person
Who cares the most
And does the most for everyone else -
In our family,
That person is you.

You always have time
To do those caring things
Other people only wish they had done.
Somehow,
You always know all about
Those difficult things
Other people only try to understand.
Somehow,
You’re always there,
Putting aside your own problems
To deal with someone elses.
I shouldn’t count on you so much
But it’s very hard not to - -
No matter where I might go
In this world,
There will be times
When the only place I’ll want to be
Is right here with you.
